Little white bubbles formed around her when Hunter dropped her in the water. Arabella quickly stood up and looked at Hunter, sputtering. He was laughing so hard, he was clutching a stitch in his side. "Oh...now you're going to get it" Arabella said with a smirk and and she ran at him. Laughing, Arabella jumped on him, tackling him into the water. She laughed when his head popped out of the water, dripping wet and she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him in close and kissing him. Arabella kissed him for a moment, pulling herself closer to him when she felt his hands on her arms and he was pushing her away lightly but it wasn't in a mean or rude way. Arabella looked up at him and smiled softly. He had been so awkward that day and she thought that it was kind of adorable.
"So, I was thinking.." Arabella started and she pushed herself off of Hunter's lap, taking his hand and helping him to stand up. Hunter looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
"Uh oh.." He teased and Arabella smacked his arm.
"I was thinking that we should invite your friend Will over and his girlfriend, Penny. They could come to the beach house for a weekend or something" Arabella said with a shrug and bit her lip. She just really wanted to have some time away with Hunter again and having other people there would be fun. Will and Penny seemed like nice people so she figured that it might be cool to have them visit. Hunter nodded and smiled.
"Yeah, that would be great" He said and he lightly kissed the tip of her nose. Arabella giggled and started to walk towards the shore with him.
"Maybe we should go back to my apartment though..." Arabella said "I need to pack some clothes and things and we need to do some shopping for food and what not and you need to get a hold of Will because I don't really know him or Penny and that would just be weird" she finished rambling with a wave of her hand and Hunter chuckled, putting his arm around her gently.
"I think that's a great plan" He said to her and Arabella leaned into him slightly, smiling. Being like this with Hunter was amazing and even though she thought that awkward Hunter was cute, she was a little worried. Did something go wrong last night? Did he regret it? When would they do it again? Arabella wanted to know but she couldn't just ask these kinds of questions.
She quickly ran into the house and grabbed a couple towels so that they wouldn't get the car wet. Arabella knew that she didn't have any other clothes at the beach house and she figured that Hunter didn't have any either. She tossed a towel to Hunter and wrapped one around herself before she slid into the car.
It wasn't long before they were on the road, almost at the apartment. Arabella took out her cell phone and she quickly sent Daniel a text message telling him to meet her at her apartment. She had some papers and things to give him. As they pulled up to the apartment, Arabella climbed out and twisted her hair into a bun. She grabbed her purse and waved at Tom "Hi, Tom!" she greeted him happily and he smiled back at her with a tip of his hat.
"Ms. Foster. Hunter" Tom said nodding at him. Hunter grinned at him
"Good to see you, Tom" Hunter said and Arabella rolled her eyes before grabbing Hunter's wrist.
"Yes, yes..it's wonderful to see each other again, but we got stuff to do" Arabella said and pulled him onto the elevator "See you later, Tom!" she called as the door closed. When they got to her apartment, Arabella walked back to her room to put some things together for Daniel and she quickly changed into a pair of jean shorts and a tee shirt. When she come out of her bedroom, she saw Hunter sitting on the couch, gazing out the window. Arabella smiled and walked over to him. He turned and looked at her with a small smile on his face. He seemed lost in his thoughts. She smirked down at him then sat on his lap, straddling him. Hunter seemed a little taken aback, like he wasn't expecting her to do that. She put her hands on his neck and leaned down, pressing her lips against his tenderly. After a moment, he lifted his hands and let them rest on her hips gingerly. Arabella pressed herself closer to him, her heart speeding up. The events of the previous night had been so easy for her and so exciting. Being with Hunter like that was incredible. Arabella moved her lips away from his and started to kiss around his ear, nibbling on his lobe lightly.
"I swear, if this happens one more time..." A voice from the doorway said.
Arabella could feel Hunter jump out of surprise and she looked down at him. His cheeks were bright red and he looked horrified. Arabella turned and saw Daniel standing in the doorway. She had forgotten that she told him to come over. He was looking at them with a smirk on his face and he had his arms folded across his chest. "Jeez, Hun..give the man a break to breathe every once in a while" Daniel said and Arabella rolled her eyes. With a sigh, she got off of Hunter and grabbed the piles of paper and folders. Arabella placed them in his arms.
"How have you been, Danny?" Arabella asked him
"Oh, not as good as you from what I hear" Daniel said and he looked over her shoulder to give Hunter a wink. Arabella looked back at Hunter and his cheeks were bright red "Why have I never met Tom before?! He is like...ugh. He is perfect. I was talking to him for so long and it was so amazing. He is such a BABE too!"
Arabella rolled her eyes and laughed softly "I'll see you later, Danny" she said with a nod. Daniel hugged her, kissed her cheek and winked at Hunter.
"Bye you two, love birds!" Daniel said as he walked out. Arabella closed the door behind him and turned to look at Hunter.
"I swear, that boy does not know the meaning of subtle" She said before walking towards him again.
