Chapter 82 - Arabella

Arabella followed Hunter out of the apartment, closing it with her foot. She blew on her gold nails as Hunter locked the door for her and pressed the elevator button. Quickly, Arabella slipped into the elevator before the doors closed. She looked up at Hunter and furrowed her brow. He looked like he had a lot on his mind "Are you okay, Hunter?" she asked him. Hunter looked down at her and a small smile graced his face.
"Yeah, everything is great" Hunter told her and he kissed the top of her head "Don't worry so much" he added and Arabella let out a little huff. She didn't really think that he was telling the truth but she could deal with that. If there was something bugging him, he would tell her eventually.

"We have to stop at Walmart before we leave the city" Arabella said with a nod and looked at Hunter for a quick moment before stepping off of the elevator and out to the car.

"Sure. What do we need?" Hunter asked her and he put the bags into the back of the car. Arabella was about to open her door when Hunter's hand appeared there. She looked up at him and grinned as he opened the door for her. She kissed his lips lightly and sat down. When Hunter started the car and started driving, Arabella scratched at a bug bite on her knee.

"I just want to get some camping stuff" Arabella said with a shrug "We need some food for roasting over a fire and I need some sunscreen and mosquito repellent. Stuff like that" she finished and sighed, itching at the bug bite. Hunter's hand reached over and took her hand away from her knee.

"Didn't anyone tell you not to scratch those?" Hunter asked her with a chuckle. Arabella looked over at him and rolled her eyes playfully.

"No, because I didn't spend half of my childhood in the woods" Arabella teased and smacked his arm. Hunter laughed and pulled into the Walmart parking lot. Arabella slid out of her seat and stood up, fixing her shorts. She looked up at Hunter as he got out of the car and locked it. Arabella grinned at him and started to walk towards the store, bouncing on her heels slightly. Shopping was fun to her. Shopping for her was like a fight to an Ares kid. It made her so giddy and thrilled and excited. Arabella was just lucky to have the money to support her need to shop.

As soon as they walked into the Walmart, Arabella went to grab a shopping cart but then her eyes landed on the toy section and excitement started to bubble up inside of her. Whenever she was at Walmart, she was usually alone and she never got to enjoy those kinds of things. Because if she did start playing around in the toys by herself, people would probably look at her like she was crazy. But Hunter was with her now and that meant that she had some serious play time to catch up on. She looked over at Hunter and locked eyes with him. He seemed to be thinking along the same lines as her. With a giggle, Arabella rushed towards the toys, Hunter at her heels. She quickly went to the bikes and found a little pink one. With a giggle, Arabella sat down and started biking down the aisles, looking for Hunter. Suddenly, she saw him with a bow and arrow. It was a small thing and the arrows had suction cups at the end of them.

"Oh my gods, that is perfect" Arabella laughed and she ducked when he fired an arrow. It sailed right over her head and landed on the wall behind her. His aim was still perfect. Arabella got off of her bike and put her hands on her hips, pretending to be annoyed "Okay, now you're going to get it" she said before running and jumping at him. Hunter caught her, laughing and before she could do anything, he started tickling her sides. Arabella squealed with giggles and wiggled around in his arms

"Had enough?" Hunter asked her though his laughter and Arabella nodded, not being able to talk through the giggles. Hunter stopped tickling her and put her down. She looked up at him for a second, catching her breath. she looked around and her eyes widened.

"It's the dress up section!" Arabella said excitedly and ran over to a small place that held costumes. She found a princess crown and placed it on her head then she picked up a prince crown and turned to look at Hunter. He was looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm just going to pretend that I don't know you" Hunter said, pretending to be embarrassed by her and he turned so his back was towards her, starting to walk away. Arabella put down the crowns then ran at him, jumping on his back and wrapping her arms around his waist.

"You're not getting away that easily" Arabella said softly in his ear and grinned. He turned his head to look at her and his hands held her thighs tightly, so that she didn't fall. Arabella grinned from ear to ear at him then placed a kiss on his lips lightly. He smiled against her lips then pulled away.

"Dang it, and I was so close" Hunter teased and Arabella smacked his arm. She pointed towards the front of the store.

"To the carts!" Arabella said, giggling. Hunter looked at her for a second before he started to walk with her still on his back.

"I'm a pack mule, now?" He laughed and Arabella nodded. She kissed his cheek and slid off of his back. It didn't take them too long to get the rest of the things that they needed. Arabella was a pro shopper and she could whip around the big store in a few minutes and not forget anything. The whole shopping trip and gone pretty smoothly except for the moment when Arabella had made Hunter go with her down the aisle where the condoms were. His cheeks were red the whole time and he was very awkward. He kept looking around as if he was worried that someone her knew was going to walk past that aisle.

They were in the car now, though and it was peaceful. Hunter was driving and Arabella had kicked off her shoes, pulling her knees up to her chest and flipping through the newest issue of Cosmo. She let out a soft sigh and put her magazine down "Are we there yet?" she asked and Hunter looked over at her for a second with a raised eyebrow.

"Impatient, much?" He said with a laugh and he turned down the dirt road that led to the beach house. Arabella sat up straight and looked around. It was her favorite place in the whole world now and she was excited to be back. Arabella looked over at him and kissed him on the lips tightly for a couple seconds, making him blush.

"You're the best, Stud Muffin" Arabella said softly and jumped out of the car, running towards the house with her bags in her hands. She placed the bags in the house and looked back at Hunter with a big grin on her face and he smiled back at her as he walked towards her with his bags "I'm gonna go and unpack my bags" she said and gave him a quick kiss on his jaw. She looked up at him and his cheeks were a little pink.

"Uh, sure" Hunter said and Arabella walked off towards her bedroom. She started unpacking her things, taking out her clothes and slipping them into the drawers of her dresser. Arabella let out a sigh and she looked out of her window. From her spot, she could see the beach and it made her heart skip a beat. A smile spread across her lips and she started taking out her cosmetics and placing them on top of the dresser. After a few minutes, Arabella took off her flats and she slipped her feet into a pair of flip flops. She looked in the mirror before turning and walking out of her room. When she walked downstairs and saw Hunter, he was sitting on the couch in the living room, looking out the window. He seemed a million miles away, his thoughts on something far from the beach house. Arabella bit her lip then sat down on the couch sideways, so that she was facing him. She put her legs over his lap and her chin on his shoulder.

"Hey, you okay?" Arabella asked softly and Hunter turned his head to look at her. She gave him a small smile and he smiled back at her.

"I'm fine, Ellie. Nothing has changed since you asked me an hour ago" Hunter teased and Arabella rolled her eyes.

"If there is anything bugging you, you can talk to me. I'm a pretty good listener" Arabella said with a small nod and Hunter leaned down to kiss her nose lightly.

"I know" He told her softly and Arabella smiled up at him before turning her head to look out the window. A car was rolling down the dirt road and she could see a pair of delicate feet sticking out of the passenger side window. Arabella jumped up excitedly.

"They're here!" Arabella said happily and she skipped to the door, waving as Will and Penny parked the car.
