Hunter had shut off the car after Arabella had fallen asleep and stayed up for a little while. He partially watched her sleep and partially watched the rain. Hunter loved storms. He wasn't sure why, but there was something about them that made him feel peaceful. A small section of harmony among the chaotic storm. When Hunter woke up, Arabella was still asleep with her head on his lap. He rubbed his eyes and smiled down at her. "Good morning." He said in barely a whisper. He ran a few fingers lightly through her hair and along her arm.
When Will woke up, he immediately smiled. Penny was awake and was writing something with her fingers on his stomach. The two of them were snuggled fairly comfortably. Will blinked his eyes tightly and yawned. He was still a little tired, considering the activity of choice from the previous night and technically that day morning. He took a deep breath and smiled. "Good morning, my pretty little Penny." He whispered with a grin.
Arabella shivered lightly, getting goosebumps as he ran his fingers along her arm. She was half asleep, slightly aware of everything going on around her. But her whole body was heavy and weak from being still for so long. Arabella yawned, stretching slightly as she slowly woke up. The sun was beating through the window on her hip and the heat felt good. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked up at Hunter for a minute before saying anything "Hi" she said softly, in a tired voice.
Penny had slept wonderfully. Everything that had happened the night before was more than she could ever dream of or hope for and she felt like a million bucks. She woke up early that morning but she didn't get out of bed. It was so peaceful next to Will. Penny had laid next to him instead and wrote the lyrics to her favourite songs on his chest with her fingers. She heard Will's voice and her head snapped up to look at him. A smile spread across her lips "Morning, my handsome man" she whispered in a teasing sort of tone.
Will smiled down at her. "Did you sleep okay?" He asked, lightly running his hand down her back. He wasn't sure what there was to do today, but if the answer was nothing, he would be okay with that. Being there with Penny was so peaceful and calm. He loved it. He loved her.
Hunter smiled down at Arabella and ran his hand across her cheek. "How did you sleep?" Hunter asked quietly. He checked his watch and found that it was really early. The discovery made his stomach growl a little. He wanted to go in and make breakfast, but being with Arabella was way better than anything else.
"Good" Arabella said softly and she giggled when she heard his stomach growl. She pushed herself into a sitting position and moved so that she was sitting next to him and put her chin on his shoulder "And how did you sleep?" she asked him, putting a hand on the nape of his neck and tickling the skin there lightly.
Penny moved up so that she could place a kiss on his cheek and she nodded lightly "Best sleep ever" she said and smiled down at him. The events from the night before seemed so wonderful and perfect and amazing. Penny almost didn't want to wake up in case it had all been a dream. She laid back down and took one of his hands in hers, opening it up and running her fingers along his palm lightly "I wonder where Hunter and Arabella slept last night. I didn't hear them come inside..."
Will waved it away. "You know Hunter. He's like a ninja." Will said with a chuckle. He grabbed her hand and pressed a kiss on the back. "Hopefully, they're not fighting anymore." He said before planting kisses all the way up her arm to her shoulder to her neck and to her ear. He lightly nibbled on her ear and placed kisses across her cheek and to her lips.
Hunter smiled and put an arm around Arabella. He felt her trying to tickle him. "I'm not ticklish, by the way." He said with a shrug. He turned his head. "I slept okay." He said with a smile as he kissed her lightly on the nose. His stomach growled again and Hunter sighed. "Do you think it's safe to go back inside?" He said, looking at the house.
Penny's skin tingled where he touched her, like there were electrical shocks flowing through her body wherever he kissed her. She slipped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer to her, kissing him passionately. Penny had never felt closer to him and she knew that their relationship was just going to get stronger and better as time went by. She was sure of that.
Arabella sat up and looked at the house for a second before nodding "Not even I could do what they're doing and not take a break for breakfast" she said and yawned, pulling her hair up into a bun. She kissed his cheek before slipping out of the car and together, they walked towards the house. Arabella stepped in and looked around. It was quiet and Arabella hoped that they were still sleeping. She looked at Hunter and raised an eyebrow before calling into the house "Good morning! Hunter is about to make breakfast!"
"Why is it always Hunter who is making food?" Hunter said with a sigh. He looked up the stairs at the door to Arabella's room assuming that's where they went. "Well, I might as well start cooking." He went into the kitchen and pulled out the eggs and the rest of a package of bacon. He opened the cabinet and pulled out some Pillsbury biscuit dough along with the makings for sausage gravy. "We'll do a big breakfast this morning." He said with a nod.
Will sighed when he heard Arabella. Penny started to get out of bed, but Will pulled her back. She fell on top of him and he kissed her gently on the lips. He brushed his lips to her ear and kissed her temple. "Let's just pretend we're still sleeping." He whispered into her ear, letting his lips lightly graze her skin.
"Perfect" Arabella said softly and she placed a kiss on his shoulder before pouring herself a large cup of coffee. She leaned against the counter and looked over at Hunter, watching him as he got the food together and started cooking "And Hunter is always cooking because Penny isn't here right now, I don't know if Will can cook and Arabella would burn the kitchen down"
Penny giggled softly and she nodded in agreement. She slid her hands down his sides lightly, her skin hardly touching his. Penny rolled over so that she was laying on the bed and she pulled Will ontop of her. She smiled up at him and kissed him lightly "They might start to wonder, though..." she whispered with a smirk and placed her hands on his back.
Will smiled against her lips. "Who cares?" He said with a smile. "Would they interrupt wake up someone sleeping?" He kissed her and traced her lips with his tongue. "Not that we did much sleeping." He smiled against her lips and kissed down her cheeks to her chest.
Hunter smiled as he cooked the bacon and the sausage. He put the biscuits in the oven and started the eggs. It was time to wait for a while. Hunter sighed and looked at Arabella. A smile broke across his face and he walked up to her. He lifted her onto the counter and stood between her legs. "Since Will and Penny are still sleeping..." He said quietly as he pressed his lips to hers and placed his hands on her legs. He lightly ran his fingers up and down he thighs as he kissed her.
Penny giggled and ran her fingers down his spine and she closed her eyes. She could have been with Will all day. It was just so perfect. She took a deep breath and opened her eyes. Penny brought her hands up to his cheeks and she pulled his face up to hers "You are really amazing" she told him softly
Arabella giggled and she wrapped her legs around him, pulling him closer to her. She kissed around his lips then placed little kisses all over his cheeks and his nose and his jaw. Her hands raked down his chest and she grabbed onto his shirt, pulling her body closer to him "What do you want to do today?" she whispered and grinned against his skin.
Hunter smiled. "Well," He said, squeezing her thighs lightly He grazed his hands up to her butt and picked her up. He carried her and turned around before sitting on the counter himself. "I can think of a few things." He said, kissing her tightly on the mouth.
Will grinned and looked at her. "We're a match then." He said quietly. He really wanted to stay with her for the entire today. He took a deep breath and the smells of food tickled his nose. His stomach grumbled. "Sorry." He said quietly.
Arabella smirked against his lips and her hands found their way to the bottom of his shirt. She ran her fingertips up his chest, under his shirt and she placed soft kisses along his jaw line. Being next to his body like this was incredible. She could feel his heart beat under her hands and she forgot all about the food or the fact that Will and Penny were just upstairs.
Penny smiled and giggled softly "I'm really hungry too" she whispered with a nod then kissed him once more before rolling out from under him. She quickly got dressed, pulling on a summer dress. Penny looked in the mirror and she ran her fingers through her curls, fixing them a little. When Will was ready, so took his hand they walked down into the kitchen. Expecting to see Hunter and Arabella making food or something innocent, she was a little shocked when she saw Hunter sitting on the counter with Arabella standing impossibly close to him and her hands up his shirt and his hands on her butt. "Oh, I uhm...oh.." she said awkwardly and looked up at Will, not really sure what to do.
Hunter brought Arabella's face up to his and kissed her on the lips, just as Penny and Will walked in. He turned, breaking the kiss and cleared his throat. "Uhh...Ellie?" He said with red cheeks. He stood up off the counter and stood there for a second before realizing he was still carrying Arabella with his hands on her butt. He quickly set her down so that she was standing again.
Will's eyes widened. "Come on, guys." He complained with a sigh. "Not by the food." He said, peeking into the kitchen to look at the food.
"Shut up, Will." Hunter said as he finished cooking the eggs. He put them into a bowl and set them on the counter. "The rest of the food should be done in a little while."
Arabella let out a little huff and she fixed her hair. She was really hoping that they wouldn't run into the same problem as before, always interuppted. Pouring herself another cup of coffee, Arabella looked over at Penny and raised an eyebrow at her.
Penny blushed and smiled softly at Arabella before getting a glass of apple juice. She looked over at the food cooking then looked up at Hunter "Is there anything I can do?" she asked, trying to get past the awkwardness that was in the room.
Arabella pushed herself away from the counter and walked over to Will "Did you have a good night?" she asked him, trying not to giggle.
Will cleared his throat and blushed. "Umm...why yes. I did have a good night." He said with a nod. He looked at Hunter who was trying to hide a slight smile and then looked back at Arabella. "I'm guessing you did too considering you're wearing the same clothes as you did last night." Will said with a raised eyebrow.
"Penny, do you want to work on the gravy for the biscuits and gravy? I'll write out a recipe real quick." He said, trying to stay out of whatever it was that was occurring between Will and Arabella. "I think the biscuits will be done in a few minutes." He said with a slight sigh.
Penny nodded excitedly, not even noticing Will and Arabella talking. She was in such a good mood, she didn't think that anything could ruin it, really. Hunter quickly wrote down the recipe and handed to to Penny. She looked it over quickly before getting everything ready and starting to cook "Are there any plans for today, before we leave?"
After smacking Will's arm and holding back a giggle, Arabella looked at Will with a raised eyebrow "It started storming and we fell asleep in the car" she said and stuck her tongue out at him. She looked over Hunter's shoulder and let out a happy sigh "It looks so good..."
The oven went off and Hunter opened the oven after shutting it off. He grabbed the pan and quickly set it on the top of the stove, trying not to burn himself. "After the gravy is done, we're ready to eat." He said with a nod. He looked at Penny. "I think Ellie had some plans. Something like a walk in the woods and a meal cooked over a fire." He walked over to Arabella. He slipped his arms around her waist and lightly kissed her neck. "What did you want to do today?" He asked quietly.
"Sure, sure." Will said, looking at Hunter and Arabella. "Fell asleep in the car. Whatever you say." He said before walking over to Penny. He kissed her temple and stood next to her with an arm on her waist. "Looks good, babe." He said with a smile.
"I know, right!" Penny said excitedly then blushed and cleared her throat "Uhm, thanks, I mean" she said and grinned up at him. She kissed Will quickly before taking the finished gravy off of the stove and pouring it into a serving dish "A walk in the woods sounds fun" she said and looked over at Hunter and Arabella
Arabella nodded and she leaned back into Hunter for a second. She took a deep breath "Yeah, I thought a walk would be fun and we could make steaks or something over the fire" she said "And by we, I mean Hunter" she finished with a nod then pulled out of his arms so that she could get the plates and things "We should eat outside at the picnic table"
Hunter shrugged. "Sounds good." He said, picking up the bacon and the biscuits. He walked out and set it all on the picnic table. He walked back inside and get a few more things and stepped back out. It was a beautiful day. "Well, dig in, everyone. Penny did a really good job on everything." He said as he sat down on started serving a little.
Will nodded. "Yeah. It all looks delicious." He said with a smile. "Thanks, Penny." He said as he took a bite of biscuits and gravy.
Arabella smiled at Hunter and she sat down next to him, so her leg was touching his leg. As she ate, her mind kind of wandered. Last night, Hunter has asked if they were going to meet her dad again. After everything that had happened last time, she was shocked that Hunter wanted to do meet him again. It really meant a lot to Arabella. She looked over at him and smiled again before looking at her food.
Penny blushed a little "I didn't do everything. Hunter did most of it" she said and sat down at the table. She smiled at Will and took a bite out of the food "When did you figure out how to cook like this?" she asked Hunter, turning to look at him.
Hunter cleared his throat. "After I left camp, I was homeless for a while. I was...'hired' to cook and clean and stuff for someone. I decided to make the food good, so I read a bunch at the library. Not much else you can do when you don't exist and you're homeless." He shrugged and looked up at Arabella for a second. He never told he that Martha turned out to be her mother. He took a bite of egg and looked up at Penny with a small smile.
"Wait, so you were someone's butler?" Will said with a raised eyebrow. Hunter rolled his eyes.
"Yes, Will. I was a 'butler' so that I could eat for the day." He said with a nod.
Arabella snorted a little and started giggling. Hunter looked at her and she took a breath to stop the giggles for a moment "I'm sorry, I'm just picturing you in a suit with tray and a British accent" she said and smiled before taking a bite out of some bacon.
Penny giggled a little bit at Arabella then looked over at Hunter "Well, at least you learned how to cook. That's always a good thing" she said with a nod and took a sip from her apple juice "And you learned how to cook some really good food"
"I only keep him around for the food" Arabella teased and grinned up at Hunter. Hunter blinked at Arabella.
"I'll just go, then." He said, standing up from the table with a fake and over-dramatized huff. Arabella pulled him back down by his shirt. He laughed quietly and cleared his throat. "Thank you, Penny." He said, taking a bite of biscuits and gravy.
"So, can I call you Jeeves from now on?" Will asked with a raised eyebrow. Hunter choked on his food and took a drink of water to wash it down. He shook his head.
"I've been gone from camp a long time, Will, but I can still kick you butt." He said, clearing his throat and wincing slightly. "No, you can't call me Jeeves."
"I am so calling you Jeeves" Arabella said softly and finished off her coffee mug. She smiled up at Hunter before yawning. Penny looked at Will and smiled, she couldn't help it. She smiled when she looked at Will and she didn't want that to change anytime soon. Penny looked back at Hunter and raised an eyebrow.
"Did you kick his butt a lot?" Penny asked with a little giggle. She kind of wished that she had known Hunter and Will and Arabella before Hunter and Arabella left camp. She felt like they could have been good friends earlier.
"Umm...yes. Pretty much all the time." Hunter said with a chuckle. He took another drink of water and leaned over to Arabella. "If you call me Jeeves, I will break up with you." He said, raising an eyebrow at her. He kissed her lightly on the cheek and set his cup back down. Will caught Penny's eye and gave her a 'he's lying to you' look. "Oh, and I'm not lying to you, Penny." Hunter said before finishing his food.
"Whatever you say" Arabella said and patted Hunter's shoulder "Jeeves" she added as a whisper in his ear. She picked up all of the empty plates and took them back into the house. Arabella placed the dishes in the sink before walking up to her room to get changed.
"I don't know Hunter, I've seen Will kick some major butt" Penny said with a nod and a small smile.
"I took out a god. and 2 Titans. And a bunch of monsters." Hunter said proudly. "Oh, did I mention that I'm not a demigod? Thank you."
"I took out a god and a Titan too. And a bunch of monsters." Will said with a smile. "Don't get such a big head." Hunter rolled his eyes.
"I'm going to get changed for the walk. I'll be back." He said with a nod before standing up from the table. He walked back into the house and up to his and Arabella's room. He opened the door to see her changing clothes. "Oh...I...umm...my bad." He said, looking away.
Penny turned to look at Will after Hunter left and she placed a soft kiss on his nose. She liked spending time with Hunter and Arabella but getting some time alone with Will made her heart flutter. Penny crossed her legs and took Will's hand with both of hers, opening it up in her lap and studying it. It made her blush when she thought of how his hands had caressed her body the night before. Penny bit her lip and looked up at him "A walk should be nice" she said softly, clearing her throat.
Arabella turned around in lightly shock when she heard someone talk from behind her but she relaxed when she saw that it was Hunter. She looked down at herself and what she had on, which wasn't much. Just a pair of denim cut off shorts and the bra that she had just slipped on. Her cheeks flushed but it wasn't out of embarrassment. She smiled at Hunter and tried to cover up the awkward moment by going over to her clothes and searching for a shirt "It's no problem" she said with a smile and looked back at Hunter, chewing on her lip.
Hunter cleared his throat and walked over to his duffel bag. "I didn't know that you were...Sorry." He said as he took out a set of clothes. He kept his back to her as she got dressed. He slipped his shirt off and put on a fresh one as he waited for her to get done.
Will smiled at Penny. "I hope so." He said as he leaned down and kissed her lightly on the lips. He put an arm around her and she leaned her head on his shoulder. It was such a beautiful day out.
Penny loved sitting with him like this. It was easy. She knew that the weekend was coming to an end but she didn't really want it to. The beach house now had a special place in her heart and she wished that they could just stay there "I hope that they're not too long. I'd like to get going, then maybe we could go swimming when we get back" she said and smiled up at Will.
Arabella quickly pulled a shirt over her head and she looked in the mirror. Her cheeks were still pink and if she thought about it, her skin still tingled where he had been touching her that morning. She turned around and looked at him "I'm ready, whenever you are" she said softly
Hunter looked at her and cleared his throat. "Would you mind umm...I was going to get changed. You're...here." He said awkwardly. She stood there and smiled. "You don't care, do you?" He said with a sigh. She shook her head and grinned. "Fine." He quickly changed his pants and looked at her. "Alright. Let's go." He took her hand and walked down the stairs and back outside. "You guys ready?" He asked Will and Penny.
"Absolutely." Will said with a nod. He kissed her on the cheek and took her hand as he stood up.
Arabella followed Hunter outside and the four of them started to walk into the woods. She used to walk through there when she was younger and it was always fun. There were lots of animals and the path was close to the ocean. All of the trees were grown out so they looked like they belonged on the pages of a fairy tale.
Penny grinned and when they got to the path, she let go of Will's hand and skipped ahead, with little waves of her hands here and there, flowers grew out of the earth and small vines twisted up some trees, sprouting little white flowers.
"Well, someone is enjoying herself" Arabella giggled, looking at Penny.
Hunter lifted Arabella's hand and kissed it gently before letting it go. "I haven't been in the woods in so long." He said quietly. He hated the fact that he had been away from the woods for so long. He practically grew up in the dense forest of camp. He rubbed his hands on his jeans and took a deep breath before leaping and grabbing a low branch. He pulled himself up and straddled the branch. He could feel the cobwebs clearing from his memory. He took a deep breath and a smile spread across his face.
"You just couldn't resist, could you?" Will said with a chuckle. Hunter shook his head. Will shrugged and clumsily climbed up a nearby tree. "I can do it too, you know."
Arabella looked up at the guys in the trees but her eyes focused on Hunter. He looked happy. He looked comfortable with where he was at the moment. Arabella had never even tried to climb a tree before but it was nice to see that Hunter was so happy again. "Having fun, monkey boy?" she asked him with a smirk.
Penny looked back and saw Will and Hunter in the trees, she walked back to them and she rubbed her hands together for a second before willing a thick vine to burst from the ground and grow upwards to wrap around a branch of the tree that Will was in. Penny looked at her make shirt rope proudly and quickly climbed up it. She sat down beside Will and grinned at him.
"Fine, whatever. Have fun, you tree huggers" Arabella teased and started to walk down the path.
"Not so fast." Hunter said before swinging upside down with his legs wrapped around the branch. He smiled at her upside down. It felt so good to be up in a tree again. He felt even better that he might be able to share this moment with Arabella.
Will looked at Hunter and then looked at Penny. "Umm...I'm not going to do that. I'd probably fall on my face and die." He said with a chuckle.
Penny looked over at Hunter with a raised eyebrow. She knew that he was pretty talented at everything he did at camp but it still kind of amazed her when she remembered that he isn't a demigod. Penny turned and looked at Will with a grin on her face "That's okay. I don't want you to fall on that wonderful face" she said and kissed his cheek lightly
Arabella looked at Hunter and smirked. In the back of her mind she wondered if it was healthy for her to prefer to see him hanging upside down from a tree or fighting a monster rather than fighting Chad. She pushed that thought away and she stepped closer to Hunter, putting her hands on his cheeks "This is way too easy" she said softly and she pressed her lips against his, a teasing smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
Hunter smiled against her lips. "Do you want to come up?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at Arabella. She bit her lips and nodded. "Alright. Hold on." He said as he sat up. He reached an arm down to her. She reluctantly took it and Hunter hauled her up. He helped her sit solidly on the branch and held her as she got comfortable.
"I don't want to fall on my wonderful face, so it works out in the end." He said as he pressed his lips to hers. He leaned into her and ran his hand up and down her back. "I love you." He whispered into her ear.
Arabella squeaked a little when he pulled her up and she held onto his forearm tightly for support. She closed her eyes for a second then let out a sigh and opened them. Nervously, she looked around at the ground below her then decided that was a bad idea when her stomach flipped and she looked at Hunter "I've never been in a tree before" she said with a smile
Penny smiled, her heart racing and she kissed him gently, leaning into him "I love you too" she whispered and put her hands on his chest lightly.
He smiled and kissed her cheek. This felt so perfect. He held her close and brushed the hair out of her face before placing a light kiss on her cheek. "So, is this how you imagined us back at camp?" He whispered into her ear. He lightly grazed her forearm with his fingers as they sat there.
Will smiled and kissed her again. He was so madly in love with her it didn't matter what they were doing. He was happy to be there and happy to have her with him.
Arabella giggled softly, blushing deeply. She couldn't believe that she had admitted to him that she used to think about him in a romantic way back at camp. She had hardly ever admitted it to herself. She had pushed those feelings so far back, she had nearly forgotten about them until she saw him again at her office. She was just happy that she hadn't told him everything that she had thought of him. Arabella got shivers when he ran his fingers up her arms and she chewed on her lip "Maybe" she whispered with a smirk.
Penny smiled at him, swinging her legs under her. She looked around and from where she was sitting, she could see the ocean in the distance, behind Will. Penny scooted closer to him and she put one of her hands on the tree branch and one hand on Will's cheek "I'm really, really happy that we came here this weekend"
"Me too." Will said with a grin as he put his hand on top of hers. He traced her fingers with his and looked up at her. The quiet whispering of the two happy couples. The faint sound of the ocean in the background. He was so glad that they had taken the next step last night. It had nothing to do with the event itself, but who he was with. "It's just a shame we have to leave." He said quietly, putting his head on her shoulder.
Hunter raised an eyebrow. "Well, what can I do to make that maybe turn into a yes?" He said with a grin as he ran his finger down the scar on her wrist. He wished that the scar had never happened. It was so easy to be with Arabella, but it had taken so long for them to get to that point. He was glad that it seemed that things were back to normal again. Relatively normal anyway.
Penny closed her eyes and took a slow breath, her hand held onto his like he was holding her to the earth. Gently, she kissed his head then leaned her head against his on her shoulder lightly "We'll just have to go on more trips together. Last night was a blast" she teased.
"A lady never reveals her deepest thoughts" Arabella teased softly and she looked down at his fingers on her scar. Arabella could remember everything about that day. She could remember the feeling of her life ebbing away, the feeling of Hunter's strong arms around her, the pain in his voice, the overwhelming sadness that she felt. With a little shock, Arabella realized that her and Hunter never talked about it. Everything got so crazy afterwards. She never let herself work with the emotions and why she had done it. She just pretended that it didn't happen. Arabella shook herself then nervously pulled herself closer to him, trying to not look at the ground. She twisted her arms in his hands so that she couldn't see the scar and kissed his top lip gently
Hunter looked at her and sighed. "That's too bad." He teased. "I was willing to go pretty far to make it happen." He nodded and grinned at her. She seemed a little distracted. He turned her head toward his and kissed her tightly, his lips lingering on hers for a moment. He looked her in the eye and kissed her on the tip of the nose. "I just want to make you happy, Ellie. I'll do anything to make you happy." He said with a smile. He wanted her to know that. He's always wanted her to be happy, no matter what.
Will laughed lightly with his head on her shoulder. "I certainly didn't mind it." He said with a chuckle. He gently kissed her shoulder and smiled against her skin. He looked up at her and placed a kiss on her forehead with a loud 'mwah.' He looked her in the eyes with a sheepish grin. "Somewhere with nude beaches, maybe?"
Penny looked at him with a fake look of shock and she smacked his arm. She couldn't pretend to be mad at him for long though, she burst out into giggles and she covered her mouth at the thought of them going to a nude beach. Penny took a deep breath and shrugged at him "Maybe if we were the only people there. Some of us don't want the whole world to see our bodies" she said with a small roll of her eyes
Arabella looked into his eyes and she gingerly touched his face with her hands, grazing her fingers over his forehead, his temples, his cheeks, his nose then down to his lips. She placed a kiss on his chin and nodded softly "You make me happy every day, Hunter" she told him softly before running her fingers down his neck and stopping on his chest, with one hand over his heart.
Hunter smiled. He put his hand over hers and squeezed it. He lifted it up and gently kissed her finger. He held it and looked at her for a second before pushing it toward her forcefully, making her fall a little off the branch. He quickly caught her as she screamed. He burst out laughing and looked down. "That 8 feet looks really dangerous, Ellie. It's a good thing I caught you." He said with a chuckle.
"I only show it off because I know you can't get enough." Will said, winking at Penny. "Yours isn't-" Will looked up when Arabella screamed. "Huh. I thought I was going to be the one who fell out of the tree." He said with a chuckle. "You got her, Hunter?" He shouted over.
"Yeah. She's so clumsy, though. It was a good thing I was here to catch her." He teased, looking Arabella right in the eye.
Penny jumped a little in surprise when she heard Arabella scream and she looked over her shoulder. When Hunter said that Arabella was okay, she let out a breath and looked back at Will with a slightly relieved smile "Want to get out of the tree before you're the next one to fall? Maybe go for a swim?" she asked and wiggled an eyebrow at him.
Arabella looked up at Hunter, trying to catch her breath "Oh, yeah...I'm fine. Thank the gods that Hunter was here to catch me" she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. She reached up and smacked his arm before pulling herself up and wrapping her arms around him because she was still shaking from the fear of falling. Her heart was racing about a million miles a second and she was taking short breaths.
Hunter furrowed his brow a little at her sense of panic. "You're okay." He said quietly, a little surprised at her reaction. "Come on. Let's get down." He said quietly, kissing her cheek and wrapping an arm under her, supporting her body as he shifted on the branch. "Hold on." He said before dropping down carefully. He carried her for another moment before turning back to Will and Penny. "We're going to go for a swim. You guys coming?"
"Definitely." Will said with a chuckle as he jumped down clumsily and cringed when he landed wrong. "I could have gone without that." He groaned.
"Smooth, Will. Real smooth." Hunter said with a laugh before turning toward the water, Arabella still in his arms.
Penny slid down her vine-rope gracefully and landed next to Will. She looked at him with a look of worry on her face and she reached out to him "Are you okay?" she asked and she took his hand, hoping that he didn't hurt himself too much.
Arabella looked over at Will for a second before turning her head to face Hunter's neck. She smirked and she moved closer to him, kissing him and lightly biting the skin there. Arabella felt safe and warm and happy in his arms. It made her feel complete and beautiful "You better not dump me in the water" she said softly with a smirk.
Hunter sighed and changed his course to the house. "Well, okay. If you insist." He said with a chuckle. He carried her into the house and up the stairs. She was kissing his neck the entire time. He finally pushed open the door to their room and closed with his foot before throwing her down onto the bed. "Do I have a hickey there, now?" He asked with a grin as he wiped his neck. He smiled at her and crawled on top of her before pressing his lips tightly to hers. "You're going to drive me insane doing that." He said against her skin.
Will ran out of the woods and immediately into the water, not caring that he wasn't wearing his swim trunks. He dove deep and then propelled himself out of the water and into the air. He shouted as he did a flip and landed in the water again.
Penny laughed and she nervously looked around, standing at the edge of the water. The realization that she didn't have a bathing suit on just hit her. Normally, she wouldn't worry but she had put on some of the nice clothes that Arabella bought her and she didn't really want to get them ruined. Penny watched Will for a moment, trying to figure out what to do. They were pretty isolated, on a small patch of beach near the woods in the middle of nowhere. And from the way that Hunter carried Arabella off, she figured that they wouldn't be coming back anytime soon "Throw me your shirt, would you?" Penny yelled out to him. Soon after, a shirt came flying through the air and Penny grabbed it. Quickly, she pulled off her dress and pulled on his shirt. Penny gingerly hung the dress up on a tree branch then ran into the water, giggling.
Arabella giggled softly and she lifted her right leg up, hooking it on Hunter's waist and pulling him closer to her. Arabella kissed him, tightly, slipping her arms around him and resting her hands on his back. He had a way of making her heart race with a single kiss or a single look. She opened her mouth slightly and ran her tongue over his lips for a moment before kissing his bottom lip then his top lip "Oh gods, you are really amazing, Hunter" she whispered, digging her fingernails into his back lightly.
Hunter pressed his body against hers. He wasn't sure what came over him. The feeling of her warm breath on his skin. Her body so close to his. The face that she was who she was. Whatever it was took him over. He needed to kiss Arabella as soon as possible. He hummed against her lips and nibbled lightly on her lip before pulling away. "So, is that a no to swimming?" He said quietly. He took a deep breath and grinned down at her.
Will smiled at Penny in his shirt. He casually stood up in the water and walked over to her. "You look nice in my shirt." He said, put a hand on her side. He pulled her in for a soft kiss to distract her from the giant ball of water that he held above her head. He broke away and smiled before dropping it on her with a big splash.
Penny squealed when the water fell on her head. She wasn't expecting it and her body stiffened up when it fell out of shock. She looked up at Will, her mouth in a little O shape and her curls sticking to the sides of her head "You are so mean" she said before closing her eyes and focusing for a moment. Then a weeping willow that was on the edge of the water twisted it's branches so that they were by Will. Thin branches wrapped around his wrists and pulled him out of the water so that only his toes were touching the surface. Penny grinned proudly and raised and eyebrow at him.
"No swimming" Arabella breathed and she pulled his face down to hers again. Her leg grips his body tighter to hers and she can feel every muscle, every little movement that he makes. She felt like the heat between them was about to set her on fire. Arabella moved her lips away from his and found the spot on his neck where she had been kissing previously and started kissing it again, nibbling the skin lightly between kisses.
Hunter squirmed slightly. Hunter brushed his lips down her cheek and neck to her shoulder. He sucked lightly on the skin and then bit it before placing small kisses on her neck all the way up to her neck where he kissed once before breaking away to look at her. "Is this what I missed earlier?" He asked with a grin as he ran his hands lightly up and down her sides and stomach.
Will smiled as he struggled for a moment to get out. He sighed and looked down at her. "I'm not giving up. I will get out of this." He said defiantly. Penny shrugged and turned to leave. "Oh, no you don't." He said with a smile. A platform of water rose form under her and moved her backward toward him. He lifted her to about eye level and smiled. He trapped her feet in the water and brought her closer. "What shall we do with this newly found amount of time?" He asked with a grin before kissing her lightly on the nose.
Penny looked down at the water that she was standing on. She had been in this position too many time with him and she had learned from all of those times. Her arms slipped around his neck and she shrugged, smiling up at him "Who knows..we can do whatever we want" she said and kissed the soft spot above his upper lip and under his nose.
Arabella shivered when he slid his hands down her body like that. It was teasing and it was gentle and it felt amazing. Her whole body felt alive. She smiled up at him and nodded before pressing her lips against his in an innocent kiss "Hunter?" she whispered and looked up at him in the eyes with a small smile on her face "This turns my maybe into a yes"
Hunter smiled from ear to ear and put his hands on her sides before standing up, lifting her up with him, and turning around. He fell back on to the bed with her legs straddling him. It felt odd knowing that someone like Arabella was thinking about him in this way before he could even do this. At least it probably felt odd to someone. Hunter didn't care. He was different back then and so was she. All that mattered was now. That moment. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her body close to him. He pressed his lips tightly to hers and smiled. "It's a shame I took that oath. We could have saved some time." He said with a chuckle before running his hands up and down her spine.
Will grinned and caught her lips with his as she pulled away. He brought up some water so that he could at least stand on something and kissed her again. "This whole vine thing?" He said with a smile against her lips. He kissed her again and held his lips tightly against hers. "It's pretty kinky." He whispered with a smile against her mouth.
Penny rolled her eyes "Glad that I could bring a little extra kink into your life" she teased and she pulled herself closer to him, kissing him gently. The kisses that she placed against his lips were gentle and even after the events of the previous night, they were still innocent and sweet "And it wasn't supposed to be kinky" she added in a whisper
Arabella nodded and smirked down at him "Mmm, really though. If only I was smart enough to do this while we were at camp" she teased and she shivered softly from the feel of his hands on her spine. Arabella leaned down, placing a kiss on the hollow of his neck then moved lower, peppering his chest with little kisses. She slid her body down more, placing a kiss on his solar plexus and she looked up at him with a small smirk on her lips before sliding her body up his again and placing a kiss on his chin.
Hunter felt her kisses like small starbursts against his skin. He sat up on his elbows a little and slipped off his shirt. He kissed her again and smiled at the idea. He contemplated briefly what his life would be like if he hadn't taken the oath. If he had stayed at camp as a mortal with clearsight. If he had dated Arabella during camp. He shook the thought away. "You said..." He tried to speak, but was interrupted by kisses. "Something...about Vic....toria's secret....the other...day." He finally got out between kisses. He smiled against her lips. "Now, a good time?" He said with a chuckle.
Will combined the water platforms that he had made and moved closer to Penny. "Well, is it still necessary then?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. He chuckled quietly and pressed his lips to hers again. He wondered how he could fall in love with someone so brilliant and precious as Penny. "What did I do to score a girl like you?" He whispered quietly.
Penny blushed and she leaned into him. She wanted to say something witty, something funny but all her brain could come up with was a jumble of words and letters because he was making her feel like the princess at the end of a Disney movie. Penny took a breath and she kissed his jaw lightly before finally coming up with something to say "You're just lucky, I guess" she whispered then with a wave of her hands, the vines let go of him and the only thing holding them up was his water platforms.
Arabella stopped kissing him and looked down at him. She was so lost in the moment, she had totally forgotten about the things that she had bought for him. A mischievous smirk plays across her face and she kissed Hunter tightly and passionately before slipping off of him and walking towards the bathroom, making sure to wiggle her hips as much as she could. As soon as she was away from him and his body, she felt cold but her skin was tingling from where he had touched her. Arabella quickly slipped out of her clothes and pulled on what she had bought. Her eyes flickered to her reflection in the mirror and she smiled proudly. It was a soft pink and made entirely out of lace. It was a delicate slip that hugged her curves and was just long enough to cover her butt. With trembling hands, she pulled the hair band out of her hair and let her messy waves fall over her shoulders and down her back. Arabella opened the door to the bedroom then and looked over at Hunter with a smirk on her face.
When Arabella left, Hunter adjusted on the bed so that he was sitting with his back against the wall, facing the bathroom. He waited anxiously for Arabella to emerge and when she did he gasped. "Oh my gods..." He breathed. "You are...wow..." He was speechless. She looked so beautiful he didn't know what to say. It was like dealing with girls all over again. He was completely and utterly speechless.
"No doubt about it." Will said with a smirk against her lips. "The luckiest guy in the world with the most beautiful girl in the world." He said quietly as he traced his kisses to her ear. He moved his hands to her hips and pulled her closer. If only they had some music...He thought to himself. This would be perfect for some music to dance to. He thought. Obviously someone in the water heard hi thoughts when some soft dulcet singing came from somewhere to the side of them. He glanced over to see a couple of heads poking out from the water and singing.
"Baby, I'm yours." They sang. Will smiled at Penny and slowly swayed to the music, holding her close to his body. "And I'll be yours, until the stars fall from the sky."
Penny looked down and she saw the faces, singing up at them. She smiled softly at them then looked up at Will with pink cheeks. It seemed like it had been so long since they had been sleeping in different rooms. So much had happened in just a matter of a day. Penny rested her head on his shoulder and she closed her eyes, letting him move her to the music. It was perfect and it was simple and it was beautiful. She couldn't remember a happier day.
"You're pretty 'wow' yourself" Arabella said and she started to walk towards the bed, making sure to take her time and move extra slowly. Watching him look up at her, totally speechless was so much fun for her. She knelt down on the edge of the bed, keeping her eyes on Hunter and she started to crawl towards him. Arabella kissed his stomach, just above his belly button and started leaving a trail of kisses up his body, his chest and his neck until she was straddling him and she was kissing and nibbling at his bottom lip. Arabella felt so beautiful and strong in that moment. Nothing could burst her bubble. She was beyond happy.
Hunter slipped his hands inside the slip and ran his hands up and down her back. He kissed her tightly. It was frantic or panicked. There was no sense of urgency. They had all the time in the world. He pressed his lips to hers and soaked in every single moment that he was kissing her. He felt every touch and every caress. It was magical. He found the hem of the slip and looked into her eyes. That look said everything that needed to be said. He kissed her again before pushing it over her head and off the bed. He pulled her down into a kiss that made his whole body tingle. "I love you, Ellie." He whispered against her skin.
